Position Summary / Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Program Manager to join our team in Falls Church, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

 

In this role you will provide the leadership, direction, and vision for the IT operations & maintenance (O&M) of a customer’s infrastructure at more than 70 locations nationwide. The team at your direction consists of more than 40 service desk technicians, systems administrators, engineers, quality specialists, trainers, database administrators and others. You will use this team to continually improve, optimize efficiency, and deliver outstanding service to Unisys’ customer using industry-recognized standards such as ITIL. You will focus on creating/maintaining a high performing team with high morale, low turnover, and career growth opportunity.

 

 

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an operating rhythm to deliver outstanding IT O&M services.
  • Develop and execute with the customer, a shared vision of IT O&M services.
  • Be the customer’s single-point-of-contact for all matters.
  • Regularly bring innovative ideas to improve IT O&M.
  • Develop/build a high performing team with low turnover and career growth opportunity.
  • Bring creative solutions to issues.
  • Foster positive relationships with Unisys’ partners and peers.
  • Develop metrics to measure performance and continually improve them.
  • Bring thought leadership in IT O&M methodologies and practices.
  • Bring flexibility to pivot and adjust to the needs to Unisys’ customer.
  • Develop and execute a plan to expand Unisys’ work with the customer.
  • Be the liaison for reach-back to Unisys corporate resources.
  • Monitor/manage: budget, status reporting, and risks.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of IT O&M experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role for 40+ staff.
  • PMP certification required
  • Additional certifications are desirable (CISSP, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL)
  • Prior profit/loss responsibility and familiarity with government contracts a plus.
  • Track record of delivering outstanding IT O&M services.
  • A Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
