Summary / Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career oriented Operations Manager to join our team in Annapolis Junction MD to begin a challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.


  • Oversee Tier 1, 2, and 3 operations
  • Ensure successful achievement of all requirements of the Operational Engineering activities and duties, including all general requirements listed in this SOW
  • Manage operations per ITILv3 Standards
  • Integrate all operational activities, labor resources, and tools into one cohesive service delivery environment
  • Implement full operational schedules. Include for all operational activities, a master schedule of IT operations, opening/closing checklists, integrated daily operational calendars showing status of regularly scheduled duties and work, regular audits and maintenance, and other schedules needed based on Contractor experience
  • Ensure standard processes are developed when needed and followed at all times. Existing processes are established for change and configuration control and management, security patches, and system builds; review and update these when the need is identified.
  • maintaining the availability, integrity, and security, and performance of the Secure Flight system
  • Ensure successful delivery of all services during established service hours, especially core hours
  • Develop and meet service metrics and SLAs; immediately correct service lapses and apply mitigation to prevent future lapses
  • Remain current on events, plans, decisions, etc. at TSA-level operational committee meetings; ensure activities are aligned with strategy and policy requirements. Inform Federal staff of operational status, successes, risks, barriers, etc.
  • Establish a mechanism to coordinate new or additional identified objectives and outcomes and requirements with the Contract Program Management and the TM/COR to ensure adequate coverage and successful completion of existing duties within contract fiscal constraints     



  • Master's degree and 15 years’ experience or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • ITILv3
  • Experience in managing and configuring DNS, DHCP and TCP\IP technology
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and to meet short-turnaround deadlines
  • Must have a positive team player attitude
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
  • US Citizenship


  • Experience with development environments
  • Experience with TSA Operations
  • TSA EOD clearance
