Position Summary / Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented DoD/DISA - Program/Project Manager to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.



In this role you will:

directly interface with DoD/DISA clients/prospects to support/management and be accountable all phases the Stealth product lifecycle in the client environment. Candidate will need to quickly become an expert on the Stealth Suite of Data Protection solutions in order to assist the Client Executive and field sales organization capture Stealth technology and manage services contracts. 


Candidate will proactively coordinate with the DISA/DoD account leads and Stealth Solution Architect to follow up on actions and present  Stealth Solutions, guide the client to identify potential use-cases (usually via whiteboard discovery sessions), qualify the opportunity, serve as the onsite operational POC, and consult with the CE/sales team to determine strategies and tactical next steps.  Working with the Unisys Services organization, Candidate will be required to assist in the design/architecture of the client solution or response to an RFI/RFP.  Ability to translate technical attributes to business benefits is a key skill.  The candidate will require significant DoDIN/DISA/DoD domain knowledge and documented experience designing and or/managing secure Networks/Environments. This position requires the candidate to demonstrate a proficiency and/or knowledge of advanced security concepts including functional knowledge of common network fabric such as Routers, Firewalls, and Connectivity & Monitoring assets.


The candidate will work with DoD/DISA technical and operational leaders (i.e. Integrated Project Teams) on cutting-edge projects in a highly technical, dynamic, and fast-paced organization; as well as be able to discuss, recommend, and defend approaches to complex problems based on prior experience.


Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide Program and/or project management oversight for DoD/DISA Stealth Product Lifecycle at client locations
  • ble to manage multiple projects and have P&L responsibility- Present Stealth Solutions in an attractive and confident manner to clients/prospects
  • Lead client/prospect discovery engagements to determine opportunities/use-cases for Stealth Solutions
  • Partner with services architects to produce detailed conceptual and logical architectures that meet business and technical requirements to support client BCA (Business Cost Analysis) efforts
  • Understand functionality and capability of a core set of infrastructure security tools
  • Function as subject matter expert on Network usage of the Stealth Suite of Solutions to support DoD/DISA operational and/or performance data calls
  • Provide expertise and guidance on the configuration and deployment of network security tools based on DoD/DISA architectural requirements 
  • Investigate and validate new infrastructure security tools as directed by offering architects and business requirements to support potential BCA efforts
  • Address security challenges inherent to virtualization and “cloud” based service offerings
  • Ability to demonstrate Stealth in a pre-sales environment
  • Respond effectively to RFP and RFI requests and coordinate with the DoD/DISA account lead for synchronization and coordination. 
  • Assist in other federal network security opportunities as needed


Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of the DoD/DISA environment
  • General understanding of the Mission Partner Environment (MPE) – coalition operations
  • Ability to manage the Stealth Project Lifecycle in a DoD/DISA environment
  • Ability to create detailed conceptual, logical and physical architectures using Stealth
  • Ability to be concise, articulate, and assertive in all forms of communication
  • Strong knowledge of multiple infrastructure security tools 
  • Strong knowledge of Router, Switch and Firewall rules 
  • Conversant in published security architectures, approaches, methodologies, and standards
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to foster and manage  partner relationships
  • Ability to interact with senior DoD/DISA technical and operational leaders
  • Deep understanding of Data Center and network operations, server administration processes, network and communication protocols, and DoDIN architecture 

Required Critical Expertise: 

  • Manage the entire lifecycle process to attain ATO, FedRAMP, DIACAP to RMF, Army Networthiness, FIPS compliance, NSA CSfC/NIAP, or other common DOD certification/accreditations. 
  • Strong Knowledge in compliance frameworks and risk mitigation techniques and controls

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in applied sciences or engineering from a leading institute & a minimum 10 years of work experience in IT security or Network Operations or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • Experience designing, managing or supporting complex Networks
  • At least one Microsoft certification
  • CISSP or other security credential preferred
