Summary / Description

 

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Sr. Windows - Networking Engineer to join our team in Kingstowne, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems. 

In this role you will: 

provide Tier III / Tier IV support for not only the TASPD applications but also TASPD / Customs and Border protection customers and trade partners. 

Duties: 

  • Provide Windows Enterprise Support and Coordination amongst the TASPD
  • Provide Tier 3 level Networking / Windows systems support
  • Senior System Admin / Infrastructure Engineer supporting Windows 2008 / 2012 Server O/S Administration, Deployment, including IIS, Clustering, SQL, Patches, Upgrades, Troubleshooting, Configuration,
  • Provide advanced Server systems setup, administration, configurations, and automated implementations. Help support services and resources for optimal efficiency, functionality, security and management.
  • Perform server and web service deployments, configurations, updates, and improvements.
  • Provide Application teams OS support in addition to providing support for the application code 

 

Requirements

Required Technical Experience: 

  • VMware / Virtualization
  • Latest Server / Storage (RAID / SAN) experience (Dell, Cisco, etc.)
  • Microsoft SQL / (experience / troubleshooting)
  • MCSE
  • CCNA / CCNP
  • A+ Hardware / Networking (troubleshooting)
  • Windows Server 2003, 2008. 2012
  • Windows Desktop Operating System 7, 8, 10
  • Microsoft IIS / Web (experience / troubleshooting)
  • Research and recommend technology to improve current systems.
  • Minimum 8 years in Microsoft Windows, Networking and CISCO Networking Switches ad Routers.

Other:

  • Master's degree and minimum 15 years of IT related experience or equivalent.
  • Clearance – Must pass CBP BI.  Must have a DoD Secret or be eligible to obtain one
  • Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen
