We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Project Manager to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
In this role you will shall be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all project related activities throughout the equipment life cycle of the contact. The Project Manager shall work closely with the customer to define, document, and adhere to proposed solutions and delivery schedules.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities
Providing a Project Management Plan, Subcontractor Management Plan, Project Schedule, and Monthly Status Reports
Facilitating or leading monthly PMRs
Delivering all operational aspects of site equipment, support, and services
Collaborating with program leadership to define, document, and adhere to the proposed solutions
Conducting daily operational management, leadership, and oversight to ensure requirements/SLAs are met, and addressing any issues prior to escalation
Tracking, mitigating, and reporting on all risks
Managing or directing all subcontractors
Coordinating collaboration and communication of project execution between prime and subcontractor personnel, USCB personnel, and other stakeholders
Defining, relaying, and delegating requirements and restrictions to all personnel involved in the context of this contract
Providing support and guidance to USCB personnel and end-users throughout FITd operations
Managing and leading cross-functional teams dealing with acquisitions, logistics, provisioning, installation, support maintenance, security, management, and decommissioning services
Leading and coordinating cross-team communication to support IT equipment to sites.
Leading cross-functional teams to accomplish FITd operations
Familiarity with Federal Government IT Security requirements
Overseeing all other Key Personnel included in this contract
Managing all activities aligning to project management and quality standards
Lead lessons learned throughout the contract and offer thought leadership and best practices recommendations
U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
The Project Manager shall possess, at a minimum, the following:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience managing and leading cross-functional teams dealing with IT acquisition, logistics, provisioning, installation, support maintenance, security, management, network, and decommissioning services of similar scale
Experience managing and leading schedule, risk and change management activities on projects of similar scale
Proficient professional verbal and written communication skills
