Summary / Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Maximo Process Analyst to join our team at Edwards Air Force Base, California, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
In this role you will drive continuous business process improvement for the 412th Civil Engineering Group.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Apply DOD, Joint, AF, and industry management/industrial engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies, as well as knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques associated with continuous process improvement
  • Gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conceptualize, and devise innovative solutions to problems or changes in trends related to manpower and resource availability, utilization, and productivity
  • Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations
  • Devise organizational design options for complex, diverse organizations
  • Conduct studies in project areas, using analytical tools such as benchmarking, six sigma, lean, etc to improve processes and/or eliminate unnecessary procedures
  • Independently and proactively facilitate organizational process improvement efforts
  • Plans, conducts and/or leads studies of current work processes to identify opportunities for efficiencies within the Group
  • Accomplishes analytical and modeling studies focused on reducing organizational inefficiencies and operational variances
  • Develops and models alternatives for improved work processes
  • Quantifies methods and procedures used to develop recommended improvements and keeps org leadership informed of progress and performance needed to meet established, strategic org goals, business process modifications and resource allocations to improve org efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identifies specific measurable performance objectives (objectives) tied to quantifiable, performance standards (thresholds) that clearly determine whether customer/mission requirements are being met
  • Resolves complicated, substantive problems affecting major agency programs and proposes solutions
  • Researches, identifies and leverages industry best practices for potential implementation through the org
  • Develops efficiency oriented business models using advanced strategic asset management concepts and industry modeling simulation tools
  • Gathers performance and variance data associated with workload changes, capacity, costs and quality
  • Consults and coordinates with top management engineering and maintenance officials on an ongoing basis to ensure adequate support for operations and maintenance programs 
  • Prepares and briefs the findings and recommendations to appropriate management levels
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and minimum 10 years of relevant work experience or equivalent blend of education and experience
  • Secret security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
