Provides technical services for the IRS-ESS program (multiple projects) involved with supporting an enterprise-level storage-as-as-service Data Acquisition and Billing System designed and implemented using open source technology including:
Works with management, operations team, and storage engineers to verify/validate storage data integrity extracted from various enterprise storage management systems. Maintains and updates, verifies, business-rules (Drools) used for monthly billing mediation processing. Works on assigned tasks required for new billing system architecture and design. Works on assigned tasks to automate data acquisition, system verification/validation, and automated invoice validation for data quality monitoring purposes.
U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT implementation experience. Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
Significant exposure to clients across a variety of industries and domains
Experience in at least two of the following specific technology areas: Application Development (multi-tier, Web, Cloud, and / or Mobile), Server Operating Systems, Database / Information Management, Application / Data Security, Application Platforms, Application Integration, Enterprise Content Management, Mobility Solutions, and Social Computing.
Strong SQL and RDBMS skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Database design and development of stored procedures
Design, development of Bash/SQL/Java/Perl scripting in Linux environment
NoSQL is a plus (Drill)
Strong Java/JEE experience/design skills
Tomcat, servlets programming, J2EE Design Patterns
Automated Testing using Junit/TDD, Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, Eclipse/Maven, Spring, Hibernate
RESTful API design, SpringBoot, Spring MVC, JQuery, Angular
Data administration and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Linux scripting Bash, Perl, Groovy
Experience with Rule-based, Knowledge-based systems, and Domain-Specific Language (DSL) design.
JBoss Drools Rules Language (DRL), MVEL
IBM Tivoli/Cognos, Spectrum Control
Network design and systems engineering
Microservices architecture and containerization
Strong communications skills (clear verbal communication is essential) with the ability to interface with all levels of internal and client project teams.
In-depth experience in Component-Based development in Open Source and/or Microsoft-based technologies. Understands key architectural frameworks, architectural design approaches and development methodologies
Implementation and presales experience in related project roles such as system analyst, implementer, integrator, test analyst, team leader and/or software architect
Knowledgeable on agile and traditional project management concepts including agile roles, agile planning, Scrum, Kanban, project scheduling, risk management, estimation (COCOMO II / Function Point Analysis), Work Breakdown Structures, requirements management / traceability, Change Management, etc.
