Summary / Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Alexandria, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
In this role you will support a senior Executive Director and provide back-up assistance when required.  You will provide a variety of contract support functions such as monitoring and oversight of Background Investigations, training, travel, timekeeping, recruiting, financial and working with related database systems. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and perform a variety of complex and routine administrative duties. Scheduling of meetings and conference calls, conference room scheduling. Plan and arrange meetings, events, answer phones, and handle matters requiring discretionary judgment and confidentiality.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities
o Independently plans, coordinates, organizes, prioritizes and manages workload while remaining cognizant of changing prioritizes and competing deadlines.
o Inputs, edits, retrieves, formats, and transmits diverse reports and documents utilizing computer databases, spreadsheets, communications and other software packages with accuracy.
o Researches information to support organization as necessary.
o Responsible for assisting in recruiting coordination of candidate interviews with the Program Team, as well as providing feedback on candidates from the program team to recruiting team
o Perform a variety of complex and routine administrative duties
o Interact with members of the staff, the customer and any of the contractors assigned to the program
o Acts as liaison for visitors for Senior Executive Service (SES) Assistant Commissioners within the assigned Agency.


Position Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent.
o Must pass CBP Background Investigation
o Displays a strong knowledge of desktop tools such as the Microsoft Suite of office products and electronic mail systems
o Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively as a team member and independently, and work comfortably in an ever-changing environment
o Must be able to make independent decisions within established guidelines regarding planning, organizing and the scheduling of work
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills and
o Must be able to support the program Monday – Friday.  Standard work hours, although flexible at times, are 8:30A- 5:30p.m.; over time expected.
