    Position Requirements:


    We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Scrum Master/Sr. Requirements Analyst to join our team in Reston, VA, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.


    We are looking to place a team member on a small development team who will be engaged in the transition of a legacy application to Java as the system is modernized.


    Our ideal candidate is an experienced and certified Agile Scrum Master who has some application development experience, and extensive client engagement experience. In this role you will gain an understanding of the functional and operational environment of a legacy system, serve as Scrum Master, manage the modernization effort backlog, develop Agile artifacts and burndown charts, support the UI/UX development, and work with a small team on a complete system modernization in Java by leading the User Story development, Sprint Planning and Release Planning. This individual should have experience with Agile development and DevOps in an Open Source environment.


    This individual should have experience supporting UI/UX and/or Usercentric Design efforts through the implementation of Unisys’ LeanUX.

    Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Lead daily Agile ceremonies (daily Scrum or Scrum of Scrums, Sprint reviews, etc.)
    • Collaborate with product manager/owners and development team during all phases of the project to promote successful delivery of quality products to our customers.
    • Involves heavy client interaction
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Responsible for Agile/DevOps Metrics reporting
    • Travel to client location for meetings when needed.
    • Understanding of various software development and test methodologies including Traditional/Waterfall, Agile, Scrum.
    • Supports Agile and Kanban environments.
    • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual
    • Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitude
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Knowledge of US Military messaging (legacy AUTODIN) experience a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Understanding of DevOps desired. Jira/Confluence, Jenkins, Git, experience a plus.


    Position Requirements: 

    • DOD Secret Clearance required, Top Secret a plus
    • Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field and a minimum of 8 years of experience specific to software development, software testing, systems/requirements analysis or equivalent blend of education and experience.
