  • Summary / Description

    The Manager, Global Rewards, based in Reston, VA, will be responsible for the overall compensation program and planning for the Federal Business of Unisys. Working with the corporate team, the Manager of Global Rewards will be responsible for ensuring programs and processes meet all government requirements.  This role will provide consulting to HR and the Federal Business Management ensuring alignment with business and company objectives, as well as to regulatory requirements.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Develop and administer the annual salary planning process, including the development and administration of program guidelines.
    • Manage the Long-Term and Short Term incentive programs for the Federal business.
    • Perform statistical analysis and reports to support all the compensation initiatives.
    • Participate in market salary surveys and conduct annual market analysis
    • Prepare and review job descriptions and market price jobs.
    • Provide compensation training for leaders, and associates related to programs and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
    • Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable state and Federal laws/regulations, including FAR, Service Contract Act (SCA).
    • Work with the business leaders to ensure compliance with DCAA and SCA regulations
    • Answer benefit questions as the point of contact for the Federal team.

    Requirements

    Required Skills:

    • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field, advanced degree or applicable certification preferred
    • Requires a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible compensation and benefits experience
    • Strong analytical and technical skills and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of compensation principles including regulatory and legislative requirements
    • Ability to independently manage processes and projects
    • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across levels, geographies, and functions
    • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a strong team-based environment
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel
    • Supervisory experience, strongly preferred
