We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Deployment Project Manager to join our team in Sterling, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.
In this role you will shall be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all project related activities throughout the life cycle of the contract. The Project Manager shall work closely with the customer to define, document, and adhere to proposed solutions and delivery schedules.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for Pedestrian and potential specified Inbound, Outbound Ports of Entry and/or Border Patrol Checkpoint projects as part of the Unisys ITI Program Management Office (PMO).
Responsible for managing the design, development, implementation and testing of all Port of Entry and Checkpoint solutions nationwide.
Provide leadership to Regional Deployment Managers.
Customer liaison to Government for all project related issues.
Review incoming requirements and providing recommendations for approach and execution.
Tracking, mitigating, and reporting on all tasks and risks.
Managing or directing all subcontractors
Leading and coordinating cross-team communication to support delivery and installation of ITI solutions to the sites.
Familiarity with Federal Government IT Security requirements
U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Eligible for DHS/CBP Special Clearance (Secret level)
The Project Manager shall possess, at a minimum, the following:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
At least 10 years of experience managing and leading cross-functional teams dealing with site design, IT logistics, provisioning, installation.
BS and 8 years of relevant expereince or equivalent
